One of the greatest privileges given to a human being is the privilege to ask divine help through prayer. "Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend" (SC p. 94).

"As the will of man co-operates with the will of God, it becomes omnipotent. Whatever is to be done at His command may be accomplished in His strength. All His biddings are enabling" (COL, p. 333).

We have the courage to ask our God because he says, "...call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me", Psalm 50:15.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Women Ministries

The objective of the department of Women’s Ministry of the Oromo Seventh-day Adventist Church is to empower and encourage women in the church so that they reach fellow women to minster to other women in twin cities and other places. At the center of vibrant family, community and the church is a committed and God loving woman. The department of women ministry seeks to offer encouragement and support for every woman. The department accomplishes this objective through offering retreats, workshops, seminars and providing resources to local church leaders.
