One of the greatest privileges given to a human being is the privilege to ask divine help through prayer. "Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend" (SC p. 94).

"As the will of man co-operates with the will of God, it becomes omnipotent. Whatever is to be done at His command may be accomplished in His strength. All His biddings are enabling" (COL, p. 333).

We have the courage to ask our God because he says, "...call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me", Psalm 50:15.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

We encourage you to send your prayer request so that we place the matter before God.

Oromo Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Minnesota welcomes all of God’s children into our Church. We are glad that you can join us in our activities as we proclaim the message of our Lord.

Today, our church is in a very unique and challenging position to assist its members to meet their spiritual, economic, and social needs in this newly adopted home, the Twin Cities.

The church members trust that the Lord will continue to lead and bless the church as He did in the past. They believe more than ever before that God has a divine purpose for the existence of the Oromo SDA Church of Minnesota.

If you would like to grow in spirit and if you share the same beliefs that we do, please join us. You can find out more about our organization by visiting the About Us page.

Dear families and friends

We are pleased to announce that our church building project is fully completed and ready to use. First and foremost, we thank God that He enabled us to complete this project, and also, we would like to thank all of you who were with us through your prayers, financial, technical, and leadership support throughout the whole project. To all our church members and those who will worship with us, our moving date to the new church will be on Friday for Vesper program (March 2, 2018) and on Saturday for regular Sabbath program (March 3, 2018). The inauguration of the church will be on March 31, 2018. The door is open to everyone to worship God with us.
